Damn Good Tacos.

I didn’t just say damn for no good reason- that is the Torchy’s Tacos slogan. They are seriously pretty dang good tacos. Tyler, Sinclair, and I have been going there once every weekend. We usually go on Sundays. The tacos are big and filling so we only get one each and it’s pretty cheap that way. You should go. The only problem is that since the slogan is Damn Good Tacos, there is a flying devil that hangs from the ceiling and little devils printed everywhere.

torchy'sNormally this wouldn’t be a problem. I mean, the devil is real. He’s totally not cool and terrible, but he’s real.

“Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.” 1 Peter 5:8

BUT, Sinclair is totally obsessed with that little devil and it’s so awkward. She immediately points to it and won’t stop looking at it. Just pointing and clapping and smiling at the devil…on Sunday. Pretty bad, huh?

I’m fervently declaring to God that this is just a little girl attracted to a funny red creature hanging from the sky and not some scary foreshadowing into her 20’s. Hahaha, but seriously.  “Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” James 4:7

In other news, Sinclair is a total daddy’s girl. She always has so much fun with him, kisses him all the time, and never whines or fusses when he watches her alone. It’s so sweet.

  1. I love Torchy’s. I’m so jealous that you get to eat there every weekend. Rose never whines with Ryan either, and she never bites him. Why are they nicer to dads?
