We started off the week with a roadtrip to visit our friends in Dallas. The weather was perfect for one day, so we took advantage of it and let Rose play in the grass. She’s never seen green grass before, so she was a little confused. She also got to play with (or look at) her bff Sinclair. It will be so much fun when they actually interact and play. I can’t wait to see them having fun together.
Rose made a beautiful picture for her daddy. He loves it, of course. I should tell you though…this was not an easy and super fun thing to do with a 13 month old. I pulled quite a few foam hearts out of her mouth.
My dad and step-mom gave Rose this adorable rocking horse for Christmas, and she finally got brave enough to ride it this week. As you can tell, she was still a bit scared, but she did it! Now she’s obsessed and never wants to stop riding it. It’s pretty cute.
Ryan doesn’t like spaghetti, so I rarely make it. I did this week, and I’m so glad to let you all know that Rose is in love. I may have given it to her for several meals in a row. Look at that face though! That is the face of a very full little girl who is questioning whether or not she should ask for a third serving.
And I’ll leave you with a video that is both sad (she still won’t say mama) and awesome (she’s communicating without crying!!).
