The weather outside has been magical these past few days. Rain, < 90 degrees at 9:00 p.m., and daytime temps that don’t make you feel like your face is melting off. Our poor little garden has struggled against the elements all summer but lately we’ve had enough of a bountiful harvest to cook a couple of meals and that is what it’s all about.
Dex loves going outside despite the fact that mosquitoes (aka satan’s pet) gather around him like nobody’s business. We give him a “bwoo pop!” which he always calls yellow until we tell him its blue. That “yesh pees” gets us every time.

O man. Dex is so dang cute. Can you please do a whole separate post on gardening? Specifically, how to not kill an existing garden. We are moving into a house with a garden and I have no idea what to do.
I just want to kiss his cute little cheeks!
Can you guys invite us over next time you cook food from your garden? Just kidding. But we really will come if you want us to. Also, Dex is adorable.
He’s so cute and such great gardener!
